At Fort Royal top quality food is one of the main reasons why there are so many regular visitors.
Our chef and host, Tim Fletcher has been in charge of the kitchen since 1995 , which means a consistently high standard of cooking throughout the season.

The Dining room has been awarded one AA rosette for food for last 10 years
.

Most of the menu is sourced locally with award winning butchers, and fish and seafood caught in local waters. The walled kitchen garden at the back of the house supplies many of the vegetables, fruit and herbs used in the kitchen particularly from May to September.
